Chateau de Laubade, the largest
estate of the appellation, is
located in the heart of the Bas-
Armagnac region. Four white grape
varietals (Ugni Blanc, Folle
Blanche, Colombard and Baco) are
cultivated on this 107 ha estate.
Each variety gives the Armagnac its
own typicity and from their blend
authentic, refined and complex
eaux-de-vie are produced.
Vintages are made with the grape
harvest of one year. Each vintage
is unique and owns its peculiarity
and personality. They slowly age in
the huge cellar of Chateau Laubade,
in 400 litre casks made from
Limousin in which they gain body,
flavour and a rich golden brown
colour.
