The colour is deep amber with tawny hues. On the nose there is sweet fruitcake aromas with malty notes and red berries and brambles. Hints of dark chocolate, with cinnamon notes. The body is smooth and rounded. In the mouth it is sweet with rich, summer fruit aromas - blackberries, blaeberries. Some coffee grinds and burnt fruit also present. The finish is dry, slightly tannic.
