Lockes distillery has the distinction of being the oldest continuously licensed distillery in the world dating back to 1757. Sadly due to an economic decline in the 1950s, Lockes distilling company was forced to sell its assets. Lockes Irish Whiskey was resurrected by Cooley distillery in the late 1980s. This is a light and zesty 8 year old whiskey, aged in oak casks for 8 years.
