popularity. It has distinctive
"honeysuckle" depth of fruit, and a
spicy herbal character that offers
a lovely mouthful of flavour.
Delicious with Australian seafood,
Verdelho's spicy flavour component
is also an excellent accompaniment
to Asian-influenced food styles.
Voted best in the Hunter by
Winestate
Magazine in 1996 and awarded the
Trophy for Best Verdelho at the
Hunter Valley Boutique Winemaker's
Wine Show in 1997 and 2002.
