Campbells has its very own deli counter which provides a selection of mouth watering, goodies! Pies baked in-house, pastries, bread, olives and anti pasta. Try our range of locally sourced home roasted meats or create the best cheeseboard from our superb range of local (see the best selection of Wensleydale - anywhere!), national and international cheeses.

We also take orders for weddings, dinner parties, buffets, shooting parties etc.

INSTANT ANTIPASTI PLATTERS

The Italians and the Spanish are past masters at preserving food, either under oil, floating in brine or packed in salt. With a quick visit to our deli, you can stock up on foods for impromptu feasts especially if you stash a couple of loaves of ciabatta in the freezer.

Italian platter: Prosciutto, Italian salamis, buffalo mozzarella, artichoke hearts, sundried peppers, Boscaiola olives, sun-blushed tomatoes, rocket and Sardinian flat bread (known as carta di musica)

Spanish platter: Serrano ham, Spanish salamis, manchego with membrillo (quince paste), marinated piquillo peppers; guindillas (hot pickled chillies), caperberries, Gordal olives and spiced Marcona almonds.


THE PERFECT CHEESE BOARD

Ideally, serve no more than four cheeses (ALL local Yorkshire of course!). Aim for a hard sheep's cheese, a soft goat's cheese, a hard cow's cheese and a blue cheese. A board can be dressed up and made even more interesting by adding pastes or spiced chutneys made specifically to go with particular cheeses (eg quince with manchego, spiced pear with goat's cheese or a sharp farmhouse cheddar).

Other cheese board goodies include balls of dried figs, medjool dates, fresh crisp apple or Spanish dried moscatel grapes.
