 10 Year Old Ardnamurchan Launched to celebrate their 10th anniversary of distilling, comes this 10 Year Old Ardnamurchan Single Malt Whisky. Matured in ex-bourbon barrels and Paul Launois barriques. Tasting notes: The nose opens with an overtly tropical offering; replet with ripe mangoes, pineapple cubes, losts of honey. There are baked bananas, brown sugar, figs, and wine gums. With time, we go a little deeper into darker tones of creme caramel, toffee, and meringues with white chocolate. Non chill filtered and natural colour. |
 Ardnamurchan Sherry Cask This Sherry Cask Release combines the complex flavours of a mix of 21 Pedro Ximénez and OlorosoSherry butts, and coastal peat smoke spirit. Nose: Murray mint, bonfire on the beach, salted peanut ice-cream, tomato stalks, Brazil nut, sundried tomatoes, teriyaki beef jerky, relish and tamari. Unctuous. Palate: Tarry rope, bung cloth, smoky bacon, old tractor shed, peanut brittle, sticky spare-ribs. Red plum and cherry, then shifts to chalk cliff and meaty traits above on later half. Finish: Crashing waves, sea-salt, bothy fireplace and cigar shop. Non chill filtered and natural colour. |
