Founded in 1885, Undurraga owns 1,350 hectares of estate vineyard in Chile’s premium wine producing areas such as Leyda, Cauquenes and Itata and is certified by Sustainable Wines of Chile. In 2023, Winemaker Rafael became the first Chilean winemaker to be awarded ‘Red Winemaker of the Year 2023’ by the prestigious International Wine Challenge. Tasting Notes This wine is an unoaked Chardonnay with elegantly perfumed aromas of vanilla leading to a fresh palate with a hint of honey and tropical fruits. |
![]() Carmenère, Undurraga 2023, Valle Central, Chile 75cl rrp £10.99 Special Offer Only £8.99 The grapes are grown in the Valle Central, where the land is flat, deep and fertile, which makes it particularly suitable for the production of reds: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Carménère. The soil is sedimentary, with an average texture, clayey loam and good drainage properties. The climate is humid Mediterranean, with moderately rainy winters, warm and dry summers and cool nights. Tasting Notes This intensely coloured Carmenère delivers exuberant red fruit aromas, through to a fruity palate with juicy notes of cherry. It has a smooth texture this is a great easy-drinking wine. |
![]() Berton Vineyard Durif ‘Winemakers Reserve’ 2021, Riverina, Australia 75cl rrp £13.99 Special Offer Only £9.99 Durif is a cross between Syrah and a little known variety called Peloursin and is sometimes known as Petite Sirah. This parcel of Durif has been chosen from a single vineyard, the ‘Foleys Corner Vineyard’, which overlooks Griffith in the Riverina. It is well suited to the climate of the Riverina region, which is hot and dry. Tasting Notes This dark, inky wine has intense aromas of violets, blackberry and subtle chocolate notes. Flavours of black cherry, anise and smoky liquorice fill the concentrated palate, while the well-integrated mocha oak influence and tight tannins add complexity and depth, leading to a long, flavoursome finish. |

Family owned by the Frey family since 2006, talented winemaker Caroline Frey and her team implement heroic viticulture techniques on the unique, heritage landscapes. Following a long tradition in preserving and working the land, the Frey family are pioneers in biodiversity, with a nine hectare wildlife reserve and ecosystem preservation efforts. Since 2016, the vineyards have been certified AB organic and since 2021 the entire vineyard has been cultivated biodynamically and with a regenerative approach. The variety of soils and multitude of terroirs shape the distinctive character of their wines. Caroline is dedicated to crafting exceptional wines following a philosophy that when the grape varieties are in perfect harmony with the terroir, they reveal their finest expression. These are exquisite wines which beautifully reflect the nuances of their origins. Tasting Notes This cuvée represents the Domaines’ commitment to organic viticulture and respect for natural balance. Vinified using traditional techniques, the wine was aged for six months in stainless steel vats and truncated cone-shaped vats on the fine lees, resulting in a cuvée with lovely purity of fruit and freshness. Winemaking Parallèle 45 is named after the famous latitude on which renowned wine producing regions are located worldwide. It spans across France and passes just over a mile away from the cellars of Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné. |
