Whisky lovers, take note...we’ve just welcomed two exceptional new releases from Ardnamurchan Distillery, each capturing a distinct side of this remote and remarkable West Highland producer. Both expressions are available now Upstairs at Campbell’s in our Whisky Corner, with only 12 bottles of each in stock. |
![]() AD/ HERITAGE BARLEY RELEASE This is Ardnamurchan in its purest form,100% unpeated Golden Promise barley, matured exclusively in ex-bourbon casks from 2018and bottled at a robust 59.2% ABV. Distillery character takes the spotlight here: bright, coastal, grassy and alive with Western Highland vibrancy. It’s a whisky that celebrates texture and transparency. Sumptuously fatty, unrestrainedand utterly confident in its simplicity. |
![]() Tasting Notes Nose: Freshly opened milk chocolate digestives, glacé cherries, lime cordial, icing sugar on marzipan, and apricot jam. Melted butter and acacia honey on sourdough toast, with preserved lemons and a wisp of long grass. Palate: Oily, chewy, and generous. The marzipan continues, joined by sugared almonds, salted cashews, and pistachio. A gentle sweetness of orange polenta cake, baked apples and a touch of fizzy lemonade. Think Peshwari naan richness. Finish: Oily, luscious, and beautifully balanced. Medium length with soft orchard fruits, sweet nuttiness, and the faintest echo of espresso. A stunning example of what happens when you let great spirit speak for itself. |
![]() AD/ 10 YEARS OLD 2025 RELEASE If the Heritage Barley Release is a study in clarity, the AD/ 10 Years Old is its smoky companion, a 50/50 marriage of peated and unpeated whiskies, matured primarily in ex-bourbon casks with a hint of sherry influence, and bottled at 46.8% ABV. This marks the first time Ardnamurchan has released a 10-year-old batch, making it both a milestone and a collectible. Expect a harmony of coastal peat, orchard fruit and creamy sweetness. A whisky with depth and maturity, but unmistakably Ardnamurchan at heart. |
![]() Tasting Notes Nose: Coconut, oat biscuits, and zesty orange peel mingle with sea air, bonfire smoke and a playful note of strawberry laces and mint. Palate: Rich and creamy custard creams, vanilla wafer and brine, rounded by an earthy, smouldering peat. Finish: Long and warming, with smoky maritime tones that linger beautifully. An elegant, confident release and the beginning of what promises to become an annual tradition from one of Scotland’s most exciting young distilleries. Both bottles are available Upstairs at Campbell’s in our Whisky Corner but stocks are extremely limited... only 12 of each. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. Whether you’re collecting, gifting or savouring, these two releases are a rare chance to experience Ardnamurchan’s craft at both ends of the spectrum, unpeated purity and coastal smoke side by side. |
