Good Friday Tasting: Jay's Holistic Flavours

We’re delighted to welcome Jay’s Holistic Flavours to Campbell’s of Leyburn for a special in-store tasting. 

Jay’s Holistic Flavours brings together vibrant, home-style cooking inspired by African and Caribbean traditions, made with a focus on natural ingredients and bold, nourishing flavour. It’s food that feels good and tastes even better!

 


We’ve had the pleasure of trying the range ourselves and we absolutely love it. Full of depth, colour, and real character.

Grilled Lamb Jollof Rice

A more indulgent take on a traditional favourite. The jollof rice is bold and aromatic, with layers of tomato, onion and spice creating a rich, savoury backbone. The grilled lamb brings a deeper, slightly earthy flavour, with a tender bite and caramelised edges that add intensity. A fuller, more robust dish for those who like something a little richer.

 


Vegan Jollof Rice

All the depth and warmth of traditional jollof, entirely plant-based. The rice is infused with a vibrant tomato and pepper sauce, delivering a gently spiced, well-rounded flavour. Grilled tofu adds a satisfying texture and soaks up the sauce beautifully, making each bite flavourful and complete. A lighter option that doesn’t compromise on taste.

 


Grilled Chicken Jollof Rice

A classic West African comfort dish, rich in flavour and deeply satisfying. The rice is cooked in a slow-simmered tomato and pepper base, giving it a warm, savoury depth with a gentle smokiness. The grilled chicken adds a slightly charred, juicy contrast, bringing both texture and a subtle spice that builds as you eat. Balanced, hearty, and full of character.
