This week marks the end of service for two of our long standing members of staff. Our head butcher Joe is leaving us to take over Andy’s Traditional Bakers, a local business which is just around the corner so thankfully he is not venturing too far away!! |
 Joe has been with us for 14 years and has been an outstanding employee, working himself up to become our Head Butcher, creating outstanding displays and meat of the highest quality alongside his team. We all wish him the best in his new venture, and we are sure it will be a great success. |
 Then also this week, in a strange coincidence, we say farewell to shop floor Adam, who has been with us for 6 years. He is taking on a new job with Yorkshire Water. Adam has been a great asset to our store, always looking to help our customers with his natural happy charm and the place will certainly be quieter without him around. Adam will be finishing this Friday and Joe next Monday so please do call in and wish them luck when you see them. As they say in the business, the show must go on, and as sad as it is these departures have created opportunities for others to join our team. We have already recruited new staff who are due to start in the next few weeks. |
